* In Regards to what Timothy Mcclanahan said about Sbbs And Os/2.....
>Just wondering if anyone out there has had any experience running SBBS
>under OS/2. I'm looking for suggestions, tips, warnings, etc.
TM> Step one: Get Ray Gwinn's SIO/VSIO com drivers - these replace IBM's
TM> stock COM and VCOM.SYS drivers. (the VSIO.SYS is for DOS programs under
TM> OS/2). Install them.
TM> Step two: Get Ray Gwinn's X00.SYS fossil driver for DOS sessions under
TM> OS/2. The version you should use is 1.49a. Install it.
TM> Step three: Install ANSI.SYS for your DOS sessions. (or your text
TM> editors will have a REAL fun time.
TM> Last step: Migrate your BBS.BAT (or whatever you call it) to the
TM> desktop to start it from WPS. You might want to put it in your startup
TM> folder even. I went so far as to add it to the WPS popup menu for quick
TM> starting.
TM> That should be it. If you have any problems, just holler.
